Vitsy · Last updated 20 October 2026

The short version: what you enter in Vitsy stays on your phone, in an encrypted database. There's no account, no advertising and no tracking, and we don't receive your records.

Who we are

Vitsy is made by Neutrade Ltd, which is responsible for this policy. You can reach us at support@neutrade.co.uk.

What the app stores

Everything you enter is kept on your phone: the supplements and medicines you track, your stacks, schedules and reminders, what you log, your training, your Diary check-ins (mood, energy, tags and notes) and your settings. It's held in an encrypted database, and the key to it stays on that phone.

You don't need an account. Sign-in, Friends and cloud backup are not part of this version of Vitsy. If we add them, we'll update this policy before they're available.

Phone backups

Vitsy's database is left out of your iPhone's iCloud and computer backups, and out of Android's automatic backup. That means a new or restored phone won't bring your Vitsy records with it. To keep a copy, use Export your data in Settings.

What the app sends

Nothing from your records. Vitsy has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.

Vitsy also checks a small settings file on this website, vitsy.app, to know whether to show a feature. The request contains nothing about you or your records. The website is hosted by GitHub Pages, and GitHub may record your phone's IP address, as it does for visits to the website.

If Vitsy crashes, it may send a crash report to Sentry, a crash-reporting service, using its EU data region. A report holds technical details only: the kind of error, where in the app it happened, the app version, the operating system, the device family and a random number for this install. It's built from a fixed list of allowed fields, so names, notes and what you take are never included.

Separately, if you have turned on Apple's “Share With App Developers” or Android's equivalent, Apple or Google may send us crash reports. Those come from them, not from Vitsy.

Apple Health

On iPhone, Vitsy can read your workouts and your sleep from Apple Health, only if you allow it. It never writes anything to Health. Workouts it reads are used for Training and for timing around workouts, and are kept with your training history on your phone. Sleep is shown in the Diary while you look at it and is never stored, logged, exported or backed up by Vitsy. You can turn access off at any time in the Health app or in Settings.

Reminders and notifications

Reminders are scheduled by your phone, not sent from a server. By default, item names stay off your lock screen: notifications show the stack name, such as “Morning”. In Settings, under Names outside the app, you can show names or hide them all.

If you turn on the check-in reminder, Vitsy uses whether you've already checked in that day to decide whether to remind you. That check happens on your phone.

The Diary, Patterns and the support numbers

Check-ins are kept on your phone, are included when you export your data, and are removed by Delete all data. Patterns are worked out on your phone each time you look, and are never stored, sent or logged.

If several recent check-ins show a low mood, Vitsy may quietly offer the numbers for Samaritans, NHS 111 and 999, at most once a week. This is decided on your phone and nothing is sent. You can turn it off in Settings, under Diary.

Payments

Plus is bought and managed through the App Store or Google Play. They handle the payment, and we don't see your card details.

Exports and diagnostics

When you export your data, the file is made on your phone. Once you share or move it, it's outside the app and you control where it goes.

If you contact support from the app, you can choose to add a diagnostics file. You see it before it's added. It holds technical details such as versions, settings and reminder times, and leaves out item names unless you tick the box to include them. You send it yourself, from your own email app.

When you email us

If you email us, including to register interest, we receive your email address and what you write. We use them only to answer you, or to tell you when Vitsy launches if that's what you asked. If your message includes health information, we use it only to help you.

This website

This website sets no cookies and has no analytics. Its fonts and images are served from the site itself, so no other company sees your visit through them. The site is hosted by GitHub Pages, and GitHub may record visitors' IP addresses for security.

Age

Vitsy is for adults. You need to be 18 or over to use it.

Your choices and rights

Because your records are on your phone, you control them directly: export them or delete them in Settings at any time. Deleting the app also removes them. For anything we hold, such as your emails, you can ask us for a copy or ask us to delete it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
